NMA Executive Director Brian Berg announced that Robin Furlong will retire on March 31, 2022, concluding her 44-year tenure with the organization. The announcement emphasized her commitment to professionalism in supporting the association and its members. Berg noted that “we will miss her” while celebrating her upcoming retirement, which will allow her to spend time with family and grandchildren. The organization expressed gratitude for “her dedication and detail she has always brought to the job, members, and staff.”

Abbie Funke to be Director of Member Services

Abbie Funke has been appointed as the new Director of Member Services. She brings experience from nonprofit, financial, and legal sectors to her role. The announcement stated she “will bring her enthusiasm and professionalism to the staff, members, and mission of NMA.” During the transition period, Funke will work alongside Furlong to ensure continuity of member support. Members were encouraged to express appreciation to Furlong and welcome Funke.
