Community Chapters
Community chapters bring together members from across an entire region — different companies, industries, and government agencies working toward shared leadership goals.
How community chapters work
A community chapter draws members from across a region rather than a single employer — people from different businesses, industries, and government agencies who bring shared challenges to the table and shape chapter programming together. Community chapters are active in cities and regions across the country.
Eligibility and pricing
Community chapters determine their own membership eligibility requirements. Every member also belongs to the national organization: national dues are $48 per member per year plus a one-time $10 registration fee (waived for anyone who’s previously belonged to an NMA chapter), on top of chapter dues set locally. Community chapters may collect dues monthly or annually.
Find out if there’s already an NMA community chapter near you — contact us and we’ll help you check.
You can still join as an individual member.
Individual membership gives you the same national network, certification pricing, and leadership development — no community chapter required. Starting at $48 a year.
