Coffman awarded NMA Silver Knight

David Coffman, Vice President of Air Mobility & Maritime Missions Production Operations at Lockheed Martin, has received the NMA Silver Knight of Leadership Award from the Lockheed Martin Leadership Association (LMLA) chapter in Marietta, Georgia.

The Silver Knight represents the highest award NMA chapters can bestow upon an outstanding executive or individual leader. The recognition honors those who uphold the organization’s Code of Ethics while advancing the free enterprise system.

Coffman was nominated for his commitment to Lockheed Martin, his community engagement, and his involvement with NMA. He is recognized for addressing workplace issues transparently. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, he organized in-person meetings to strengthen employee engagement and supported a community event to help organizations prepare for post-pandemic opportunities.

Coffman joins a distinguished group of previous recipients including Karmyn Norwood, George Shultz, Rainia Washington, Ray Burick, Lee Rhyant, June Shrewsbury, and Ross Reynolds. The selection reflects his exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and performance throughout his Lockheed Martin career, particularly his capacity to navigate challenges innovatively.
